Paul Pierce Supports Urban Improv

Urban Improv was honored recently when Boston Celtics captain Paul Pierce attended one of our workshops at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury.  When a student asked Paul what he thought of the workshops he had just observed, Paul paused and then answered quietly, "I wish I'd had this when I was your age."  Then he proceeded to speak, uninterrupted, about his own experiences.  The students were blown away.

The NBA playoff schedule did not permit Paul to participate in "Banned in Boston." So he sent us this video, which opened the evening. Thanks, Paul!

Here are some photos of Paul's visit to Urban Improv's Youth Unscripted after-school program for high school students.
